Amberon Group is one of the UK’s leading providers of traffic management solutions – including traffic lights, vehicle safety barriers and temporary signage.

They appointed The Channel Partnership to handle their credit insurance needs in July 2020, but the decision was far from an obvious ‘green light’ for them. Indeed they weren’t unhappy with the service provided by the incumbent broker, who managed their complete portfolio of commercial insurances including credit insurance.

Combining better value with more responsive cover during growth

During a period of significant growth it is vital that a business is aware of its exposure to bad debt across its combined debtor ledgers. Amberon Group has seen rapid growth, and acquired MLP Traffic In 2019, and also achieved a strategic combination with Forest Traffic Services this year. The group will have turnover of in excess of £90m and over 40 depots nationwide employing over 1,000 people.

Changing trade credit insurance broker was neither an easy nor obvious choice for them. However, Amberon were looking for a more responsive service and felt that The Channel Partnership might be the right broking partner for them.
