One of our directors, Steve Watson has signed up to the ‘Bungee the Boss’ event to help raise money for Penny Brohn UK. On Friday 16th June 2017 on the Bristol Harbourside, Steve will be bungee jumping from a 160ft crane with an aim to raise £500 for the local charity.
Penny Brohn UK is a fantastic Bristol based charity dedicated to bringing improved health and enrichment to everyone affected by cancer. The charity is there to help not only those with cancer but also their families and carers.From their National Centre in Bristol and regional hubs in the North, Midlands, London and South Coast, Penny Brohn UK provides a powerful combination of physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual support designed to help anyone affected by cancer, at any stage of the disease.
The charity helps over 10,000 people a year and their services are offered free of charge, therefore they rely on donations to continue their work.The £500 sponsorship money raised by Steve’s ‘Bungee the Boss’ event will cover ten people’s attendance at their Treatment Support Clinic, which supports people preparing for, undergoing or recovering from chemo and radiotherapy.
